A Discovery Flight is a real first lesson: you fly the airplane, with a certificated flight instructor in the seat beside you the whole time. $200 an hour in a Cessna 150L, instructor and fuel included.

Well maintained, rarely down
The airplanes here are older airframes, and the school is straight about that — they are also kept well maintained, which has meant very little downtime. A trainer that is actually on the line is a trainer you can book.
Instructors who fit your schedule
Some instructors are full-time and some are part-time, so students choose one whose availability matches their own. Part 61 lets the syllabus move at your pace instead of a term calendar.
Taught by professionals
The school is led by a veteran U.S. Army aviation officer, and instruction is delivered by certificated flight instructors holding CFI, CFII and MEI certificates.

TWO2FLY AVIATION partners with local schools to mentor young aviators and works with community organisations across the south Houston metro. Training here is meant to build character alongside competence.

Instruction is $65 an hour and the two-seat trainers rent at $135 an hour with fuel included, so a typical training hour lands around $200 — paid lesson by lesson, never up front. Financing available — details on the pricing page.

Do I need any previous experience to start?
No. Every student here starts with no flight experience and no aviation background — that is what the first lesson is for. Your instructor flies with you from the very first hour, and nothing is assumed.
What is a Discovery Flight?
It is a real flight lesson, not a sightseeing ride: you take the controls with a certificated flight instructor beside you, and the time goes in your logbook toward a certificate. At TWO2FLY AVIATION it is $200 an hour in a Cessna 150L, with the instructor and fuel included. There is nothing to commit to afterwards.
Is it safe?
Yes — and the reason is that nothing about a training flight is left to chance. The airplanes are older airframes that are well maintained, with very little downtime; your instructor sits at a full second set of controls and can take the airplane at any moment; and if the weather is not right for the lesson, the lesson moves. Nobody here flies a student into conditions they should not be in.
How much does it cost to earn a Private Pilot License?
It depends mostly on how often you fly, so TWO2FLY AVIATION publishes rates rather than a package price: instruction is $65 an hour and the Cessna 150L trainers are $135 an hour with fuel included, so a typical training hour lands around $200.
